SA Jewish Museum redecorated
Indawo was commissioned to complete the redecoration of the SA Jewish Museum with a 2-week period. The museum shut its doors for this period to minimise the closure of doors to visitors. Careful attention to detail was required as well as an intricate approach to the job to ensure that all items on display were carefully handled, removed and replaced.
The project tested Indawo’s skills, especially for this project that impacts heritage buildings in South Africa that are designed to preserve our history. Indawo is well known for its work on heritage buildings and the SA Jewish Museum were clear in its instructions to ensure the precise solution to their needs.
The project was featured in the Weekend Argus Property.
